Heavy spoilers ahead for a mission inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfarehas a mission, considered one of the best in the game, in which players perform a raid on a house in Camden Town. The mission require stealth and precision as you check rooms for potential targets. In one room there’s a mother who immediately runs over to a crib to pick up her crying baby.
If you shoot the mother, she dies and the baby continues to cry as you get berated by your fellow soldiers. One of them picks the baby up and puts it back in the crib if it was taken out. At this point the most logical option would be to simply move on. Or you can shoot the baby instead.
Choosing the later will immediately give you a Game Over and kick you back to the last checkpoint. But for players who decide to keep killing the baby, you get a special message. Here’s the video of that posted by YouTuberBechrisslol.

For those who choose not to watch, the Game Over screen will say after multiple attempts “Are You Serious?” At no point is the death shown in any capacity but the heavy implication is there. It’s interesting to note that this Easter Egg was created with the knowledge that players would not only try to shoot the baby, but try it multiple times. I suppose the developers really know their audience.
