Tite Kubo is a Japanese manga artist known for writing and illustrating theBLEACHmanga. The series came to an end in 2016, and last month, a specialBleachchapter was released to commemorate manga’s 20th anniversary. Now, Kubo is back with one more surprise forBleachandDragon Ballfans.
In November 2024, Akira Toriyama’sDragon Ballmanga series will celebrate its 40th anniversary. And to commemorate the upcoming event, different manga creators would pick randomDragon Ballvolumes and redesign their covers.
Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of theNarutoÂseries, was the first mangaka to take part in the project. He redesigned thecoverforDragon Ballvolume 11, and now, the legendary Tite Kubo has come forward to contribute.
Dragon Ball Super Gallery Project For 40th Anniversary
In July, Saikyo Jump announced theDragon BallSuper Gallery project to commemorate the manga’s upcoming 40th anniversary. The project states that each month, a different manga artist would redesign one of the DB covers. And it already started with Saikyo Jump’s September Issue that was released on August 4th, 2021.
This project will go on for 42 months until September 2024, and by the end, there will be severalDragon Ballcovers created by different mangakas.

Interestingly, Tite Kubo pickedDragon BallVolume 27 for the project. The cover flaunts the incredible art of Goku, Frieza, and Piccolo.
