The Marvel Cinematic Universe seems to be eyeing every other rising up-and-coming star in the entertainment industry to bring on board as new talent to the franchise. And these talents don’t seem to be restricted to the acting field, considering how the latest one caught in the whirlwind of rumors for the same is none other than the nine-time Grammy winner, Billie Eilish.

Exclusive reports from industry scoopers have it that the MCU just might be chasing after the Oscar winner to sign her up for a superhero/supervillain role in the saga. That said, assuming these reports might turn out to be true, here are 3 characters tailor-made for the singer who has gained recognition as one of the biggest recording artists in the world over the past few years.
Billie Eilish Being Eyed by the MCU for a Potential Role?
Among all the other big industry hotshots whose names are swirling around as the next potential additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, theBillie Eilishrumor is catching quite the fire. Apparently, the Grammy and Academy Award winner’s tremendous singing and acting charms seem to have gained the attention of Marvel Studios, who now seems to be eyeing her for a role.
According to reports from industry insider Daniel Richtman (through hisPatreon), the respective super-franchise is reportedly interested in singing thebury a friendsinger for a“big MCU role.”This comes after the fact that the 22-year-old songwriter’s hit trackYou Should See Me in a Crownwas used in a recent episode of the currently ongoing Marvel seriesAgatha All Along.

For the record, Eilish is no stranger to acting. For those who may be unversed, she made her acting debut through the critically acclaimed satirical horror-thriller seriesSwarm, which saw her starring as Eva, the leader of an NXIVM-inspired cult. And yes, her acting credits for that piece were commendable too, with her receiving tremendous praise for her performance.
In an interview withVarietyas well, she shared that she had grown up acting in plays, losing out on that only when her pop music stardom grew. That said, when the casting call forSwarmcame and her management told her she couldn’t take it on due to her prior engagements, Eilish’s honest reaction was,‘Whoa, whoa, whoa, what the f— are you talking about? This is my dream!’

With all of this being said and her having already jumped into the professional acting lane as well, theWhat Was I Made For?singer would seemingly not hesitate to join the respective superhero-verse if a role came knocking along. That said, here are three Marvel characters that seem to be tailor-made for her, as suggested by@jenkz.p on Instagram.
3 Marvel Characters That Seem Custom-Made for Billie Eilish
1Rogue,X-Men
First off, Rogue aka Marie D’Ancanto. Tough business, the mutant has some really exceptionally deadly powers, being able to absorb life-force energy from other living beings and even the powers of her fellow mutants. Billie Eilish, for one, could unarguably be one of the best choices to play a young version of her, just like howAnna Paquindid in 2000’sX-Men.
Inevitably enough, the looks and the dark tones of the role seem to perfectly match what Eilish might be looking for after the exceptional acting chops she depicted inSwarm. But, as @jenkz.p pointed out, Eilish is ‘one of the most famous singers in the world right now,’ and the role of Rogue is a major one as well, requiring her to commit big-time to it.

This serves as a drawback since, to put it simply, committing tothis big of a rolemight require her to put her pop career in the backseat for a while. And, right now, that may not be the best decision she might be looking to make.
2Gwen Stacy,Spider-Man
Yet another massively fan-favorite character, Gwen Stacy is Peter Parker’s classmate turned love interest in the comics. Of course,Emma Stonedid an amazing job throughout the time she was alive as the character inThe Amazing Spider-Manfilm series, but it seems like the time has come to move on from her. And what better person to replace her than Eilish?
Though this might sound out of the blue to some fans, thebad guysinger could actually prove to bethe perfect Gwen Stacyif channeled and directed right. Plus, as @jenkz.p mentioned, this role wouldn’t require her to commit that deeply either, since she would seemingly ‘only have to make an appearance every three or four years.’

3Deathbird,X-Men
Perhaps the most suitable rolefor Billie Eilishin the MCU besides the above-listed two could be that of Deathbird aka Cal’syee Neramani. A Shi’ar mutant and the eldest child of the royal house of the Shi’ar Empire, she was born with avian features. This included her having a full set of wings as well. But after she murdered her mother and sister in a fit of rage, she was exiled from the empire and her name and title were stripped from her.
Deathbird has since held an intense rivalry with her sister Lilandra, who had assumed the role of Majestrix of the Shi’ar. But her rivalry surpassed these bounds as well and she also became a frequent nemesis of the X-Men since they often assisted Lilandra in defending her empire.

While she eventually ended upbecoming an uneasyally to the X-Men after reluctantly agreeing to serve as an advisor to the daughter of the late Lilandra, Empress Xandra, she always put her priorities first and foremost to defend Xandra from harm.
Needless to say, this is a dark, villainous role, and one clever and fierce enough to be embodied by Eilish — especially after the charms she put on display inSwarm. The only thing that remains to be seen about it all, though, is whether these rumors even turn out to be true and she even gets the casting call for any of these respective characters.
