Finding Karlach in-game is not very hard if you already know where to look. you may even technically reach her location and recruit her to yourpartywithout having to fight anyone at all after you land on the beach. Karlach can be found at the Risen Road just south of theToll Housenear the river.If you have already recruitedWyllto your party from the Druid Grove, his main mission ‘finding the demonic one-horned tielfing’ actually refers to Karlach herself. All you need to do to find Karlach is follow the quest marker for Wyll’s mission. If you haven’t uncovered the map yet, it can be a bit difficult to know exactly which road to take.

The alternate route to Karlach’s location is entering the Blighted Village,taking the road northand thenfollowing the river east. Not only is this route longer to take, it will also result in multiple combat encounters (Ambushing Goblins,Lump the Enlightened,Barcus Wroot,Buthir, Gnolls, etc).
How To Recruit Karlach
Remember to save your progress before you approach Karlach, as it can go disastrously wrong if you accidentally make the wrong choices here. Assuming you’re here to recruit Karlach and not deliver her head on a plate to the neighboring Paladins, listen to her out and agree to her version of events.She’ll join the party immediatelyif you have the space for her or travel back to camp if you don’t.
Bringing Wyll to meet Karlach is not necessary to complete his companion quest. If you recruit Karlach without him, he will confront her when you return to camp.
