Patch 8 forBaldur’s Gate 3is almost here. To iron out the bugs, Larian Studios has launched the official stress test. SomePS5 players were lucky toplay with it yesterday, but now it’s officially availablefor everyone.
Cross-play between PC, Xbox, and PlayStation is one of the big features of the upcoming patch. You can test it out by creating or joining a lobby. ensure cross-play is enabled in the multiplayer online settings, head to the multiplayer menu, select cross-play, and create a lobby!

There are certain mod-related restrictions for cross-play.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Developer Shift “Full Attention” To Next Game
Larian Studios will enter a media blackout for the foreseeable future as they work on their next game.
Larian notes that the PC host “must haveless than 100 mods installedon that save and only include mods that are accepted on console and Mac, which are indicated by the “Available on Mac and Console” tag when browsing available mods. Otherwise, a mod mismatch will be detected, and you will not be able to join the host’s game.”
