Techland is continuing its excellent post-release support forDying Light 2: Stay Human, as the studio has rolled out the zombie game’s big Summer Update.
Alongside your usual dose of improvements and bug fixes, Techland has also rolled out an unlikely collaboration with indie card game hit, Balatro.

The studio has also launched the UGC Fest limited-time event for players that puts the spotlight on user-generated content.
Dying Light 2’s Summer Update Deals More Than Just Your Typical Patch
The crossover is represented by the Friends of Aiden bundle, which features the Jimbo Outfit, the Ceremonial Dagger, the Flying Bird Paraglider, and the Joker Charm.
Players of Dying Light 2 will be able to find these items by looking for the posters in the Bazaar and the Fish Eye, and finishing the short side quests connected to each.

That’s not the only thing new in the game. Techland has also launched the UGC Fest, a four-week celebration of user-generated content that offers activities and rewards for players. Players will be able to participate in bounties tailored for each week to earn new weapons and charms that add some freshness to the gameplay.
Each week, players can look forward to three community-created maps that Techland will showcase.

The event will also introduce a range of new visual mods to experiment with, which include weapon mods created as part of a recent contest. Techland says these mods will offer unique enhancements, which will entice players to personalize their Dying Light 2 experience in innovative ways.

Players will be able to check out a selection of content that should keep them entertained all throughout the event’s duration. Expect new maps and other new content to be part of the event.
There is also a significant list of gameplay improvements and bug fixes included in the title update released today, which includes co-op, Tower Raid fixes, and more.

Released in 2022, Techland is still heavily supporting the zombie game, which shouldn’t come as a surprise given the studio also supplied the first game with countless updates, events and more, well into its lifecycle.
If you still haven’t played the zombie game, our review spoke quite highly of it, and that’s not even factoring in the improvements, new features, and more applied since then.
