We’ve already had a little peek atwhat PC players can expectout of the upcoming multiplayer first-person shooter game which features 4K resolution, uncapped framerate, NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling), ultrawide and multi-monitor support, cross-play, and various other graphics and visual quality options.
But now, let’s get ourselves prepared for what we’ll see and experience when theBack 4 Bloodbetakicks off.
Back 4 Blood Playable Characters and Maps
With many beta’s, players can sometimes be subjected to a single map which can get a little tedious after a while. Thankfully, Turtle Rock Studios have added in two maps for the “Swarm” PvP mode and two co-op maps to fight off Ridden with your friends which should be enough to keep players invested.
Zombie bashing gamers will get the chance to play as Mom - a badass who knows how to deal with situations and resolve problems that arise - for the very first time. Players will also get to grips with the other cleaners Evangelo, Holly, Walker and Hoffman throughout the beta.
Back 4 Blood Early Access and Open Beta Launch Times

Back 4 Bloodwill be available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One Consoles, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC on June 17, 2025. Pre-orders will receive entry into the Early Access portion of the Open Beta from August 5-9, along with a bonus Fort Hope Elite Weapon Skin Pack.
