How Old Was Eren When He Died?
During the events of Attack on Titan’s final episode, the year is 854, andEren Jaeger is 19 years old whenhis death occurs, brought about by Mikasa during The Rumbling and its devastation of 80% of humanity.
Eren was born in the Shiganshina District within the southern region of Wall Maria to parents Carla Jaeger and Grisha Jaeger in the year 835. Fast-forward toEren’s first significant event in 844 at nine years old,when he saved Mikasa Ackerman from being sold into slavery upon visiting her family home. After killing the bandits holding Mikasa, Eren gifted her his scarf, and his father, Grisha, invited Mikasa to come to live with their family.
The Fall of Shinganshina occurred one year later, in 845 when Eren was 10 years old, which saw the Armored Titan and the Colossal Titan penetrate Wall Maria, which let through a number of smaller, pure titans. The devastation led to the death of Eren’s mother, Carla, and put Eren on the vengeful path of joining the Survey Corps and vowing to slay every titan to avenge his mother’s death and the downfall of his home.
Eren is only able to join the Survey Corps training two years later when he’s 12 years old in the year 847, and the events that occur between seasons 1-3 of the anime take place within the following three years, which leavesEren at 15 years old in the year 850 at the end of season 3. Between the end of season 3 and the start of season 4, there is a four-year time jump, which seesEren at 19 years old in the year 854. The events of the final season take place within the same year, including Eren’s death,which leaves his final age at 19.

Age Of The 104th Cadet Corps Members
The main characters joining Eren in the 104th Cadet Corps in the year 847 were Mikasa, Jean Kirschtein, Conny Springer, Sasha Braus, Reiner Braun, Bertholdt Hoover, and Annie Leonhart, with many of the scouts sharing the same age when they first started their training.
Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Jean, and Conny are all the same age, joining the Survey Corps when they were 12 years old in the year 847.Sasha is one year older than the rest of them, as she was 13 when she joined.Reiner, Bertholdt, and Annie are a few years older than the rest of them, since they come from outside the walls in Marley, with Reiner being 14 when he joined the Survey Corps, and Bertholdt and Annie being 13. This means in the year 857, three years after Eren’s death duringAttack on Titan’s ending, Mikasa, wholater gets marriedand starts a family, Armin, Jean, and Conny are all 22, Reiner is 24, and Annie is 23.
Swapping to the senior members of the Survey Corps, humanity’s strongest soldier,Levi Ackerman was in his early 30swhen the 104th Cadet Corps began their training,Hange Zoe was in her late 20s to early 30s, andErwin Smith was in his mid-to-late 30s. In the year 854 during The Rumbling,Levi was in his mid-30sandHange was in her early-to-mid 30s. Three years after The Rumbling in 857,Levi is in his late 30s, roughly the same age Ewrin was when he died in season 3.
The youngest main characters from the anime are Falco and Gabi,who were only around 12 years oldduring the time of The Rumbling and 15 years old in 857. The oldest main character in Attack on Titan, aside from the Garrison Regiment officer, Dot Pyxis, is technically Ymir, as the Survey Corps member explained that she was imprisoned within a titan for roughly 60 years,which puts her age around the 75 markdespite keeping her youthful appearance.
