Exploring Testing Ground 11 is well worth your time as you can find four rare weapon mod blueprints hidden throughout the place. If you’re planning to fully upgrade the Kalash, MP, KS-23, or Fat Boy, you’ll definitely want to check out Testing Ground 11.

How To Access Testing Ground 11

Testing Ground 11 can be foundjust before the bridge that takes you to the Pavlov Complextoward the end of the game. The bridge is inaccessible until you clear the Theater mission, but you can access the facility itself before that if you wish. However, it makes the most sense to delve into Testing Ground 11afteryou clear the Theater to avoid having to backtrack afterward.

Once you’re done with the Theater, make your way to the tower located right across the streetand interact with the Terminal there. One of the cameras you’re able to manipulate will allow you to open the control room for the nearby Hawk and disable it from there. That first step is optional, butwe strongly recommend disabling the Hawkbecause it will make this next part a lot easier. Your goal is to get inside the closed-off complex near the control room, and you can expect the enemies guarding it to give you a ton of trouble if the Hawk is still active.

Getting inside the complex can be a bit tricky but there are two ways of going about it, one of which involves using the Hawk itself. Simply bring down the Hawk for maintenance and use the same trick Charles tells you about near the start of the game where youlatch onto the drone and grapple down into the complex once it’s in the air again. This method will quickly get you where you need to be, but it won’t disable the enemies inside the complex. The second and best approach is to first disable the Hawk for good and thendash-jump over the fence from one of the nearby trains. Regardless of how you choose to infiltrate the compound, head inside the small building to find aKey Diskguarded by a Lab Tech.

Leave the compound and head across the street again but don’t go back to the Theater. Instead, follow the road southeast until you reach a bunker with a blue roof. Solve the first puzzle on the lock and then use the Key Disk to bypass the second one and unlock the door. You can now go inside and activate the elevator that will take you to Testing Ground 11.

Exit the elevator and go into the room across the hall to find some containers you can loot. A similar room can be found to the right of the elevator. Once you’re done looting stop by the nearby Breakroom if you need to save your progress and then proceed into the first puzzle room. The room contains a valve that controls some rotating platforms similar to those found inTesting Ground 6, so you probably already know how this works.

Simplyturn the valve onceto clear the way to the second one and thenturn the second valve three times. Look to your left to find a narrow row of blue magnets you can jump on. If you stand on them while using Shok on the magnets on the ceiling, you can easily get inside the second half of the room. Once there, you’ll need tomake your way beneath the revolving platformwhere you’ll find an open door you can use to reach the other side. There’s a similar entrance in the next part of the room.

Testing Ground 11 puzzle solution

From here, you’ll need toclimb back up and use the magnetic platformsuntil you reach a section of the room that contains a third valve.Turn the valve three timesand then head over to the other side of the room. You’ll find that there’s now a gap in the fence that you’re able to jump through to reach the last part of the puzzle. The final bit is pretty linear, so finish the puzzle and go through the exit to find a small room with a bronze chest inside. Open the chest to find theExpansive Converter mod blueprintfor the Kalash.

Keep an eye on your left as you head down the next corridor to find a room with a chest and a few containers you can loot. The corridor leads to a large room with very little inside aside from the entrance to the next puzzle. This puzzle is reminiscent of the one you have to solve to unlock the entrance toTesting Ground 9. Among other things, you’ll find some boilers in this room along with a crate of Candles you can use to power them. Before you do anything here,it’s a good idea to clear the areaas there are a bunch of Lab Techs scattered throughout the room playing dead. You canuse your scanner to reveal them.

Testing Ground 11 third puzzle

Grab a Candle using the Interact button and place it inside one of the tubes connected to the boilers. There are three boilers in the room, butyou only have to power up the two closest to the exit, so don’t worry about the other one. Press and hold the button to move the Candle through the tube and drop it inside the boiler. It’s worth noting thatthe mouth of one of the tubes can be found inside a house on the far side of the room. The house is locked, but you may get inside via the roof. With the two boilers now up and running, you can access the next area, but you may want to take another look around the room before you leave to make sure you didn’t miss any loot containers.

As you exit the large room, turn left to find a corridor that will take you to Testing Ground 11’ silver chest. Inside the chest, you’ll find theThermal Imager mod blueprintfor the MP. Right across from the room with the chest, you’ll find another room, this one filled to the brim with containers you can loot to your heart’s content. Leave the room and turn right to find a corridor leading to a Breakroom and, past that, a maintenance shaft. Crawl through the vent, and you’ll spot the facility’s last puzzle room as soon as you exit.

This last puzzle is pretty basic and involves more Candles and rotating platforms. The two rotating platforms can’t be stopped, but you canslow them down by placing two extra Candles on the stands next to the exit. You can find the two missing Candles in the room to the right of the main one.ensure to throw the Candles from a distanceas you’ll fall to the bottom floor if you try to approach the stands while the platforms are rotating. Complete the puzzle and go through the exit to find a room with some loot and another room with a gold chest beyond that. Open the chest to find theDamper-Polymeric Stock mod blueprintfor the KS-23 and theHoming Projectiles mod blueprintfor the Fat Boy. Use the nearby elevator when you’re ready to return to the surface.
