Friend of My Enemy Quest Walkthrough
The first objective of the Friend of My Enemy quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows is tospeak to Tomiko at the Hideout. She’ll explain that the best course of action is to meet with Mitsuhide, which is a dangerous task in and of itself.
Despite Mitsuhide being a dangerous man, Naoe agrees to meet with him. But first, we need to find his exact location.

Finding Mitsuhide
The game provides a hint thatMitsuhide is in Katano Castle in Settsu, so go ahead and use your Scouts around that area to create a waypoint (shown in the image above). Remember,if you are out of Scouts, you can refill them at the Kakurega in your Hideout for a fee of 200 mon.
Once you reach Katano Castle, feel free to walk right on in. I personally thought it was a restricted area, but it turns out it isn’t and no guards will stop you. Whatever you do, though, don’t do anything to make the guards angry, such as swinging weapons, bumping into them, etc.

Inside Katano Castle, use Observeto survey the area and find the small blue dot, marking the location of Mitsuhide. He’s located inside a small building on the northwestern side of the castle.

Speaking to Mitsuhide
During the conversation with Mitsuhide, you havea few dialogue choicesto choose from. First, Mitsuhide will claim to know important information about Naoe’s intentions, to which you’re able to either respond “You know a lot” or “You know nothing.”
Mitsuhide will also explain that he knows about Naoe’s father and how he was killed, to which you can respond “I believe you” or “I don’t believe you.”
Keep in mind that none of thesedialogue choices change the outcomeof the mission or story, so feel free to choose whichever you like. However, they do change the dialogue you receive from Mitsuhide.

Still, it’s fun to roleplay, so if you want to roleplay a fearless Naoe, then go ahead and disagree with him. On the other hand, if you want to roleplay an innocent Naoe, then maybe play the gullible route and agree with everything Mitsuhide says.
Either way, surprisingly,Mitsuhide will agree to help Naoe on her mission. He will task his son-in-law and his co-conspirator, Lord Ise Sadaoki, to help you get in contact with Oba Nobunaga, Naoe’s next target.
These two will help Naoe gain entry to Honnoji, which marks the start of the next main quest of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, “Belly of the Beast.”
