For fans ofDishonoredandPrey, it has been some time since there was a game following that award winning formula. However, that could be about to change with the latest news from the man who was the co-creator of these amazing titles.

Working with the independent development team Wolfeye Studios, of which he is President, Raphael Colantonio today announces that the studio has just wrapped on pre-production for an exciting new first-person RPG and it’s now full throttle on production for this title.
The Much Anticipated Follow Up To Dishonored and Prey
As per the press release from Wolfeye Studios, the first details of the new project in development have been revealed and the official announcement follows a tease which occurred at the 2024 Game Developers Conference. Sharing an image of a whiteboard in their Austin office, most notable with the words ‘First-Person‘ and ‘Retro Sci-Fi‘.

President and Creative Director Raphael Colantonio was delighted to officially confirm that Wolfeye’s next game was actively in production and would be a first person RPG. Working alongside his former studio executive Julien Roby, the pair have a passion for immersive games which they look forward to sharing with fans.
Colantonio also had the following comment;

Fans of the past games I have been involved with such as Dishonored and Prey will feel at home, as well as fans of RPGs in general.
What Could We See From The New Game?
Many fans may remember the last offering from Wolfeye Studios in the form ofWeird West, which was released in March 2022, with a next-gen release dropping the following year.Weird Westsaw a nomination for ‘Best RPG of the year’ at the 26th D.I.C.E. awards and it is hoped that the upcoming game can go even further.

There is a huge amount of ambition with this new game and the new IP is said to be utilizing the DNA of earlierArkanetitles. The aim of which is deliver to fans a deep RPG experience, which has a highly detailed world with the freedom to explore.
Fans ofDishonoredandPreywill no doubt be excited to learn of a new project from Raphael Colantonio given his pedigree on those award winning games.Many will have been disappointed by the Arkane Austin closureand not having sequels to them, however, this upcoming game looks to be a more than adequate replacement.
