All Fen’Haral Altars Locations in the Crossroads
Of all the regions inDragon Age: The Veilguard, the Crossroads has the most Fen’Haral Altars. There are five altars located in this region.
Keep in mind that the Crossroads isn’t completely explorable from the start. So, if there comes a time when you can’t reach a Fen’Haral Altar mentioned in this guide, then it means you need to progress further in the main story.
Crossroads #1: Converged City
The first Fen’Haral Altar in the Crossroads is located in theConverged City area on Map Level 3. It is on the eastern side, sitting on the slope leading up to the top level.
After activating the altar, you don’t have to go too far to find the wolf spirit. Head a few paces north, where a rock platform is sticking out of the mountainside.
Jump across the gap to the rock platform and grab the wolf spiritto earn a skill point.
Crossroads #2: Heights of Athim
The next Fen’Haral Altar can be found in theHeights of Athim area on Map Level 1.The easiest way to reach the altar is by fast traveling to the southernmost beacon in Heights of Athim and heading east.
Head south from the altar to find a zipline,which you can use to reach higher ground and find the wolf spirit.
Crossroads #3: Heights of Athim
There’s one Fen’Haral Altar to be found onMap Level 4 of Heights of Athim. Luckily, there is only one tiny area on Map Level 4, making it easy to locate.
Head to the southern and easternmost part of the Heights of Athim map and climb the stairs to the top to find the altar against the cliff.
Once the altar is activated, you canfind the wolf spirit resting on top of the shed on the ground floor.Be prepared to fight a wave of enemies next to the shed.
Crossroads #4: Converged City
The next Fen’Haral Altar is found in theConverged City on Map Level 2, but you must complete a few tasks first to reach the area. Follow the steps below:
Now that you’re in the correct area, destroy the red crystals keeping the door shut to find the Fen’Haral Altar.
After activating the altar,the spirit can be found nearby on the cliffs on the right-hand side.You’ll have to climb a ladder to reach it.
Crossroads #5: Elvhenan’s Haven
The Fen’Haral Altar inElvhenan’s Havencan be found at thenorthernmost point of the map on Map Level 2. Once you reach the broken bridge, look down to find the altar on a tiny ledge.

All Fen’Haral Altars Locations in Dock Town
There are only two Fen’Haral Altars available in the Dock Town region ofDragon Age: The Veilguard. The good news is that both can be found immediately after unlocking Dock Town as an explorable region.
Dock Town #1: Andraste’s Watch
The first Fen’Haral Altar is located onMap Level 3 at the northernmost point of the map, in theAndraste’s Watcharea.
Upon activating the altar, a bridge will appear that leads down into the nearby pit.Progress down to the bottom of the pit to find the wolf spirit.
Be careful, though, as there is a boss fight at the bottom that can be truly challenging if yourcharacter is at a lower level.
Dock Town #2: The Seclusion
InThe Seclusion area of Dock Town on Map Level 3, a Fen’Haral Altar is waiting to reward you a skill point. It’s located inside the only building in the area.
While the altar can be easily accessed by simply walking inside the building, reaching the wolf spirit will require more work.
Grab the crystal behind the altarand bring it outside near the water. Here, you’ll find a small pedestal on which to place it.
Viola!A bridge will appear, which leads directly to the wolf spiritand skill point.
All Fen’Haral Altar Locations in Rivain Coast
Similar to Dock Town, only two Fen’Haral Altars are available in Rivain Coast. The good news is that they are both very close to one another, making the trip quick and straightforward.
Rivain Coast #1: Winding Shoreline
The first Fen’Haral Altar in Rivain Coast can be found near the initial beacon of the region. More specifically, it’s found in theWinding Shoreline area on Map Level 1. You’ll need to raise a platform to reach it.
Now, head south from the altar until you reach the beach area, wherethewolf spirit sits in the small puddle.
Rivain Coast #2: Clifftops
The second Fen’Haral Altar is located near the first one, meaning you don’t have tofast travel anywhere.Head east until you reach theClifftops area, on Map Level 2.

After activating the altar,turn 180 degrees and continue forward until you approach the waterfall. The wolf spirit is right next to it.
All Fen’Haral Altar Locations in Hossberg Wetlands
Hossberg Wetlands has two Fen’Haral Altars, but only one is accessible from the start. For the second one in this section, you’ll have to complete region quests to unlock the area.
Hossberg Wetlands #1: Flooded Farmlands
The first Fen’Haral Altar in Hossberg Wetlands is located in theFlooded Farmlands on Map Level 1, east of the main city, Lavendel.
Next to a shed, you’ll find an altar resting in a small reddish-colored pond. It is very difficult to miss.
Once the altar is activated, head west to find atiny hut with the wolf spirit resting on top.Make sure to raise the platform nearby in order to reach it.
Hossberg Wetlands #2: Lost Village
Now it’s time to head to the western side of Hossberg Wetlands since there is another Fen’Haral Altar found in theLost Village area on Map Level 1.
Upon entering the Lost Village, immediately take a right into a stone-like structure with a pathway. Following the path will lead to the Fen’Haral Altar.
This wolf spirit is very easy to find, as itappears directly in front of the altar through a giant hole in the building.
All Fen’Haral Altar Locations in Treviso
Treviso, the hometown of theAntivan Crows faction, only has one Fen’Haral Altar. In other words, you won’t have to spend much time here.
Treviso #1: Heart and Central
In Treviso’sHeart and Central area, players can find one Fen’Haral Altar onMap Level 1. It’s located on the eastern side of the area.
Turn around from the altar and continue towards the large door leading to the Dellamorte Estates.Before entering the door, turn to the left to find the wolf spirit in a little archway.
All Fen’Haral Altar Locations in Arlathan Forest
Arlathan Forest #1: Mystical Tower
Reaching the Fen’Haral Altar in theMystical Tower area on Map Level 3can be tricky, as it involves solving a light puzzle.
Use a zipline to reach the top area of the Mystical Tower, where you will find a pedestal with a beam of light. Rotate the pedestal until the light hits the crystal on the opposite side, revealing a bridge you must cross to reach the altar.
This area can be confusing, but luckily, the wolf spirit doesn’t spawn too far away. Look off the ledge to discover thewolf spirit resting on the second floor. Jump down to claim the spirit and skill point.
Arlathan Forest #2: Tainted Woods
A Fen’Haral Altar can be found while exploring theTainted Woods area on Map Level 2.
When you reach the waypoint shown in the above image,use yourweaponto destroy the red barrel on top of the large wall. The explosion will destroy the wall, revealing the Fen’Haral Altar.
Next, look to the right of the altar, and you’ll notice thewolf spirit off in the woods in the distance.
Arlathan Forest #3: Nameless Building
The final Fen’Haral Altar can be found in theNameless Building of Arlathan Forest on Map Level 2.
The Nameless Building area can be accessedduringBellara’s Echoes of the PastorHardings’s An Unfamiliar Sensecompanion quests.
Progress through the building to find thewolf spirit on the platform to your left. Make sure to raise the platform nearby so you can climb up.
