The Summer Game Fest 2024, hosted by Geoff Keighley, has concluded, and boy, did we get a lot of new teasers and trailers for upcoming games. This year’s Summer Games Fest showcased a wide range of games, fromLego Horizon AdventurestoHarry Potter: Quidditch Championsand more.
Fans of all genres got a little bit of something as we saw trailers for new games and trailers for content additions to fan favorites likePalworldandAlan Wake 2‘s new DLC. Here’s every new announcement at the Summer Games Fest 2024
All New Trailers From Summer Games Fest 2024
- Delta Force: Hawk Ops– The latest installment in theDelta Forceshooter franchise, including multiplayer PvP, an extraction mode, and a full remaster of the originalDelta Force: Black Hawk Downvideo game.
2.Lego Horizon Adventures– A Lego-fied take on the open-world adventure series, coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC later this year.
3.Sid Meier’s Civilization 7– The next entry in theCivilizationseries, bringing the grand historical 4X turn-based strategy game back to PC and consoles in 2025.
- Blumhouse Games– The horror movie giant is branching out into the gaming industry with an exciting lineup of titles. Games likeCrisol: Theater of Idol,Grave Seasons,Sleep Awake,Fear the Spotlight,The Simulation, andProject Care in the works.
- Alan Wake 2 DLC: Night Springs– The first expansion forAlan Wake 2. This new DLC forAlan Wake 2brings familiar characters fromQuantum BreakandControlinto the eerie universe of Night Springs, out now.
6.Valoranton Console– Riot Games’ popular tactical shooter is making its way to consoles with versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Console players can join the action starting with beta tests on June 14.
- Monster Hunter Wilds– The latest entry in theMonster Hunterseries showcased new gameplay that wowed fans. A demo is scheduled to be available at Gamescom 2024.
8.Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions– Fans of the wizarding world will finally be able to experience the thrill of Quidditch in a multiplayer setting. Scheduled for release on July 17, 2025.
9.Cuffbust– A cute, chaotic prison escape game where you play as Jailiens trying to bust out, scheduled for release in 2025.
10.Street Fighter 6 Year 2 Characters– Capcom revealed the addition of iconic fighters M. Bison, Terry Bogard, Mai Shiranui, and Elena toStreet Fighter 6.
11.Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero– TheDragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichiseries returns with fast-paced fighting gameplay, coming to PS5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X on June 26, 2025.
12.Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves– SNK’s upcoming game brings the classic fighting series back to life with modern graphics and gameplay mechanics. Releasing in early 2025 for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
13.Metaphor: ReFantazio– A new turn-based fantasy strategy game, releasing on October 11 on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and Windows PC.
14.Phantom Blade Zero– A new trailer forPhantom Blade Zeroshowcased its stunningSekiro-like gameplay, blending fast-paced combat with story elements. Fans of action RPGs will find much to look forward to in this visually striking game.
- Slitterhead– A horror game with unique design choices, allowing players to craft weapons from human blood, set to release on June 23, 2025.
16.Dune: Awakening– Funcom’s Dune survival MMO, showcased a story-heavy trailer with a universe without Paul Atreides.
17.Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind– A retro-style beat-em-up game that allows players to control their favorite Power Rangers in a nostalgic, action-packed adventure in a time-traveling twist.
18.Cairn– This stylish mountain-climbing game from the creators ofFuriandHavenoffers a unique blend of exploration and puzzle-solving.
- Wanderstop– A narrative-centric cozy game about change and tea, where you manage a tea shop within a magical forest, coming to PlayStation 5 and PC.
20.Sonic X Shadow Generations– Sega’s remaster ofSonic Generations, now with extra Shadow the Hedgehog, coming on October 25.
- Hyper Light Breaker– The 3D sequel toHyper Light Drifter, coming to Steam early access this summer.
22.Neva– An emotionally-charged action adventure game following the story of Alba, a young woman bound to a curious wolf cub, set in a decaying world.
- Black Myth: Wukong– A new CG trailer for this action game showcased its impressive visuals and gameplay inspired by the classic Chinese tale, Journey to the West. Releasing on August 20, it’s one of the most anticipated titles of the year.
24.Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess– This fantasy strategy-action game blends tactical planning with dynamic combat. Releasing on July 19.
25.No More Room in Hell 2– This zombie survival game enters Early Access this Halloween. Players will need to work together in a co-op setting to survive the undead apocalypse.
26.Star Wars Outlaws– Ubisoft’s open-worldStar Warsgame introduces a new story and characters in the beloved universe. Releasing on August 30.
27.Batman: Arkham Shadow– The Meta Quest 3-exclusive game revealed a cinematic look at a younger Batman and the new threats he faces.
28.MECHA Break– The new trailer highlighted the game’s fast-paced mecha combat. A beta test is scheduled for August 2024.
29.The First Descendant– A free-to-play sci-fi looter shooter with a release date of July 13, 2025, for PC and consoles.
30.Skate– EA revealed gameplay footage for the new installment of theSkatefranchise, with console playtests starting this fall.
31.Killer Bean– A tongue-in-cheek action game with over-the-top sandbox gameplay, dropping in the summer of 2024.
