Genshin Impact uses much faster-paced combat while keeping all the elements that fans of Honkai Star Rail crave and enjoy. While some will try to use only first-party properties, others will use existing, very well-known properties as cameos or even the base of the whole game.
10Genshin Impact
Starting off this list is Mihoyo’s golden child, Genshin Impact. Genshin Impact uses an Action Role-playing genre of gameplay to pull in its players. It has often been called a Breath Of The Wild clone, while others say it is different enough to merit it as being one ofthe best action role-playing games around.
It was released on mobile devices, PCs, and consoles, giving it a lot of accessibility. While Star Rail embraces a lot of sci-fi elements, Genshin is rooted deeply in fantasy and magic, straying away from sci-fi elements.

9Tower Of Fantasy
Tower of Fantasyis the most similar game to Genshin Impact on this list, even more than other games made by the same developers. While Genshin Impact is all about being set in a fantasy world, Tower of Fantasy blends the fantasy genre with sci-fi.
This makes it a lot more aesthetically similar to Honkai Star Rail than Genshin Impact. It retains a lot of the same monetization and progression elements seen in both Honkai Star Rail and Genshin Impact, including using a gacha system with a chance to gain better characters and equipable items.

8Honkai Impact 3rd
Just like both previous entries, this title is a Free-to-play gacha game and uses an Action Role-playing gameplay style. This game may not be as accessible as Genshin, but it bares an incredibly similar aesthetic to Star Rail. The reason for this is that it is the third game in the Honkai franchise, of which Star Rail is the fourth.
This makes it Star Rail’s direct successor. The two share almost every feature except for the combat gameplay elements. This makes it a clear candidate for anyone that loves everything about Star Rail but would like for fights to have more movement and positioning.

Dislyte is a real visual treat and is filled with plenty of stunning visuals, as well as lots of beautiful effects to captivate its players. It takes a lot of different mythologies and combines them into an Urban Fantasy element, making it like nothing else available.

Dropping it down a couple of entries for those that play Star Rail for the pretty anime girls, but near the middle for the very well-designed character models and similar RPG gameplay that is featured in Honkai Star Rail.
6Arknights
Arknights bring with it some Tower Defense gameplay, meaning you will need to put a lot of strategy into where your units are located. The game has some very adorable, almost chibi-like, sprites during combat. The art direction puts more focus on a grittier military-style aesthetic but with stylish anime colors.
This game will give you plenty of sub-mechanics and resources to learn about and get into it. This is definitely a title worth checking out to see if it is up your alley.

5Fate: Grand Order
The gameplay of Fate: Grand Order is very intuitive and really makes use of the mobile interface in ways very few games do. This is really worth giving a try, as even players that don’t get into the game might be really fascinated by the experience of the controls.
The game has a turn-based RPG structure like Honkai Star Rail. This entry did get knocked down a position on the list for the artwork from pulls being rather simplistic; it’s still nice art, just nothing special like with other games.

4SINoALICE
This game’s director is none other than Yoko Taro, well-known for being responsible for one ofthe greatest JRPGs ever made. They served as the creative director of both the Voice Of Cards and NieR franchises. Another notch on his belt is SINoALICE.
It may get a lot of slack for the story, but the game has a truly amazing art direction for its visuals and some incredibly high-end sound design work. The gameplay and combat are on a whole other level than the majority of Free to play RPGs for mobile devices. It is polished and worth playing if you’re in the mood to enjoy a good game.
3Epic Seven
This game is to Honkai Star Rail, as what Genshin Impact is to Honkai Impact 3rd. It has a massive focus on fantasy over sci-fi, but the gameplay is solid, and the visual effects are really engaging and pretty to look at. The Gacha system is pretty generous and has a lot of very well-drawn images for the cards pulled.

There are various modes to explore and get into, with everything provided in a nice structured menu that takes a lot of the guesswork out of claiming some rewards hidden deep within other menus.
2Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross
This game’s combat is where it shines the most, not just for itself but when matched up against everything else. The moves are impactful and visually impressive, while the rotating camera to who is about to attack really engages the player and makes them feel more invested in a fight. This can give a much deeper level of intensity. The game is based on the Seven Deadly Sins franchise, which boasts awide range of powerful characters. Fans of both Seven Deadly Sins and Honkai Star Rail should put this game on their list.
1Summoner Wars
Summoner Wars is a creature capture Gacha game and something a lot of Pokémon fans will really get into. It packs with it all the game modes, sub-menus, resource allocation management, and various other features that Gacha games are known for, but with an array of different-looking creatures and monsters to put into your party to play and progress through the game. There is lot of strategy and variety, from mixing and combining different units to finding what works best in different battles.
